It started with a simple yet meaningful idea to make second hand accessible to the masses. Today, that same idea has grown into one of Europe’s largest circular platforms.
Sellpy was founded to help bridge the gap between today’s linear habits and a more circular way of living. The goal is simple: make it as easy to choose second-hand as it is to buy new. In other words, to rethink and simplify the experience of buying and selling second hand from the ground up. This way, more clothes and various items stay in circulation and eventually find their way to a new home. This is by no means a small task. But it’s one we committed to from day one, and one we’ll keep working on, item by item, bag by bag, to give things a longer life.

Buying and selling pre-owned online hasn’t always been the easiest experience. It can be time-consuming, a bit of a hassle and sometimes just awkward. What Sellpy does is to make it simple to both buy and sell second hand by taking care of the complicated parts on both ends. And by choosing pre-owned, you help extend the lifecycle of items, clothes and other garments.
The shopping part.
When you shop at Sellpy, there’s a human every step of the way that carefully handles your item. We check each item for defects and wear and tear, photograph it, create the listings and match it with the right buyer. And just like any modern marketplace, we make sure the basics work exactly as they should: secure payments, fast and reliable delivery, and a no-fuss 30-day return policy.
The selling part.
Selling what you no longer use is a simple way to give your things a longer life and let someone else make the most of them. Most of what you’ll find on Sellpy comes from people clearing out their wardrobes and homes. But we also partner with selected companies to help find new homes for items they’re no longer able to sell themselves. And if something doesn’t find a buyer on our platform, we work with partners to ensure it can be donated or reused whenever possible.
